How has computer technology helped the disabled?  Very Important in Computer Activities!!! Computers in the Workplace

How important are computers in your workplace?   I want to talk about the industry I am in.   I work for the Government managing their class V supplies.   So, I would say I am more like their logistics manager for this supply class.   I use a minimum graded computer which is just a desktop.   Most of my business deals with internet type programs by the government.   I must use two different web-based programs.   One is on the green side and other is red.   If you are in the military, we all know what that means.   Both systems give me the ability to download reports into an excel program where I can manipulate the data.   I can get rid of columns or cells not needed.   I can create formulas to make the data make sense.   I can create expenditure reports using the data from my systems.   I also use word processing daily to write reports and to request ammunition.   The positive thing about using government computer is ...

Traveling Through a Network

Ping: (Packet Internet Groper) this sends a small packet to a domain to see how long it will take to receive.  this will help you trouble shout any issues with the internet if the site you are going to is not responding.  the times on my example show the MS (milliseconds) for Google.com and Amazon.com.   Using the Ping command was simple following the instructions provided.  Traceroute: (tracert) show the path it travels to get to the domain.  This will identify where the packet may get lost or if there is a disconnect on the internet.  Some of the areas of failure may be firewalls, security, or if you are using a government computer.  The following examples I will provide show that after number 6 10.1.241.4 everything timed out after.  I can only assume right now that it is a firewall on the government side of the computer, since I am using one fore school.   Both command processes are very useful to help trouble shoot problems that you...

One Day of My Life

       We had assignments due on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  All these programs are very familiar to me since we use them all in the military.  I want to say that most business will have to be familiar using these programs. Using Microsoft Word             Microsoft word is a word processor program is a program I use daily.  “A word processor is a common computer application for creating formatted text” (Vahid & Lysecky, 2019, 5.1). Web/Mobile App

  One of the mobile apps I use daily is my YouTube Music, this app is playing constantly when I am driving or at the house relaxing.  This app is very useful to me since it is link to my google account where I can download all my favorite music and or stream them only.  Another positive note on this app, it is user friendly to anyone.  Usability of YouTube Music This is a simple designed app, that allows you to listen to almost all your favorite songs.  This app is simple to navigate through and search.  You can search by genre, artist, songs, and or by album.  Once you have used this app and selected and saved your music to the library, it will automatically find songs you may be interested in while random playing.  This app is found on most of our mobile devices.  It is compatible with android and apple devices.  One of the best features on this app is that I can control the music with my vehicle while my device is connected by Bluetoo...

Program Language
