Web/Mobile App

 

One of the mobile apps I use daily is my YouTube Music, this app is playing constantly when I am driving or at the house relaxing.  This app is very useful to me since it is link to my google account where I can download all my favorite music and or stream them only.  Another positive note on this app, it is user friendly to anyone. 

Usability of YouTube Music

This is a simple designed app, that allows you to listen to almost all your favorite songs.  This app is simple to navigate through and search.  You can search by genre, artist, songs, and or by album.  Once you have used this app and selected and saved your music to the library, it will automatically find songs you may be interested in while random playing.  This app is found on most of our mobile devices.  It is compatible with android and apple devices.  One of the best features on this app is that I can control the music with my vehicle while my device is connected by Bluetooth or USB cable.   

Design of YouTube Music

It has selection you can make to either find you favorite song or play by certain genre.  The design of this app is very basic but a cool design that shows your favorite artists.  On the main screen it has simple selection tabs that allow you to view or listen to music, watch music video, listen to podcast, or search for your favorite songs. 

Functionality of YouTube Music

Some of the basic function for this app are self-explanatory.  They have a search function where you can search by artist, song, year, genre, and by album.  You can download or stream songs and selected them in different playlists.  This app you can organize your music or play random from your playlist.  This app can work with android and Iplay function in automobiles.  All controls from my normal car radio works with this app.  I have found it useful making playlist for workouts, traveling, relaxing, working, and etc...  I can select my playlist and just go without thumbing through the phone and select music.  Another great function if you like to sing along with your music, it has a tab for lyrics so you can sing along with the music.  While listening to the song it also has the ability to play the music video if it has one attached to the song. 

Recommendations for YouTube Music

Some of the changes I would do to improve this app would be to make it customizable to the user.  For example, I do not use the podcast function.  I would delete this tab from my home screen.  I would delete the use of adds for permanent users.

One Day of My Life

Program Language
